Gregory Poppen is a writer, director, and producer of scripted entertainment & network event specials. From feature films to sports television... from music videos to digital content to pay-per-view... Poppen brings a unique set of skills to the table.
With a strong background in family-friendly entertainment, he is head writer and segment producer for the Emmy Nominated annual special Disney's Christmas Celebration, and directed Rocks my House for Disney Channel. He wrote and directed the motion picture Chilly Christmas starring Tom Arnold, which won the Best Kids Film Award at MipCom in France.

Poppen was head writer and field producer of the Miss USA and Miss Universe specials on FOX, major live television sports events including boxing's Battle of the Platforms and the ESPY Awards on ESPN, and head writer for the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
100FLY Productions and Poppenfilms also produce in-house projects, including the hit music video Gravity featuring The Voice winner Javier Colon and the wish-fulfillment reality pilot Adopting Dreams.

Production begins in 2025 for the feature film Four Strings written and directed by Poppen and shooting on location in Hawaii.
